I know … 2 blogs.. one day… things are getting a little crazy over here in L.L.P land. When I packed up my gear to head for my vacation I did something I haven’t done in almost 3 years – I packed my VERY old nikon D40. I figured paired with my cheapest lens the nifty fifty. it would be my beach camera. No worries about sand and sea ruining my Big girl cameras.
I love my first camera and it did exactly what I needed it to do. As I shot from the hip while keeping a watchful eye on my kiddos.
Glad I thought to bring my Nikon D40 on this trip to the beach. It is so much lighter then the MacDaddy cameras and so much more less of a risk.
My advice, if you are thinking about selling your old camera… I urge you to hang tight. You will be happy you did next time you decide to head to the beach.
Images edited VERY quickly in lightroom … Too much fun to be had to be sitting behind the screen.
