I don’t know about you guys but this summer is kickin’ my bootay. Trying to balance entertaining two older kids all the while trying to keep the younger one out of harms way – not to mention run a business. So we decided to head off on a roadtrip… all the way to Irving, TX. Which happens to be a whopping 30 minutes away. This is about all we can handle in the car with Screamy McScreamy Pants. So we spent two days at a local hotel that throws the most amazing 4th of July …why only 2 days… becuase that is how long we can last in one room with Screamy McScreamy Pants.
With that said, we had an amazing time just letting the kids be kids – and the parents… well we had an amazing time watching the kids be kids. Running down hallways in a race to the elevator or to the door, setting up a pet hotel in the bathroom, losing your tooth while brushing your teeth… and then really losing the actual tooth down the drain because you were brushing your teeth. Wiping away tears – because I knew it wasn’t about the toothfairy but that it was more about the fact that you couldn’t wait to see what your molar looked like when it fell out. Watching Emerson write her love notes, snuggling in one bed, dive in movies, new friends, laser tag, twirling and of course an amazing Fireworks show thanks to the Four Seasons Las Colinas . So much fun filled up these two days..below is just a glimpse of our fun.
