I was able to connect with some girlfriends from the Highschool days. What is amazing about theses friends is that while we all don’t talk very often on the phone… life is busy for everyone. When we see each other it is like no time is lost and by the end of the trip we are frantically trying to lock in another date before I head back to Texas. I didn’t use the camera until the very last second because I have learned that when I am in photography mode… I tune out everything else. I am no longer present. So I really try not to shoot when I am with family and friends…. but then there is that moment.. when you are about to leave…and you look down and you see the cutest face looking up at yours.. and soon that camera around my neck starts clicking…. sometimes I just can’t help myself.
